ADP – Quality Booster Track

The Quality Booster Track is for full- or part-time faculty who already offer hybrid or online courses in summer or winter sessions, but who have not previously participated in UMBC’s Alternate Delivery Program. It utilizes “Quality Matters” an internationally recognized peer review process to assess the design quality of an online or hybrid course. Participating faculty self-evaluate the components of their hybrid or online course against nationally identified quality standards, and then work one-on-one with an Instructional Design specialist to revise their course to ensure that it meets those standards. The revised course is then offered in an upcoming summer or winter session. Faculty who successfully complete the Quality Booster Track requirements will receive a stipend of $1000.
