OSWSP has developed a password protected financial course planning resource that provides a breakdown of the income and expenses for each course offered by your department in current and past summer/winter terms. This preliminary snapshot should be used as a course planning tool only. The final calculations are submitted to departments every spring following approval by the Provost and Deans of each college and distributions occur after the fiscal year. For further explanation and a better understanding of this tool, we have provided a Data Dictionary and a sample Tuition Disbursement Calculation spreadsheet.
To view income and expense calculations for courses offered in the current summer/winter term, based on current enrollment, select the current term. To view income and expense calculations for courses offered in past summer/winter terms, based on freeze enrollments, select the term then check the box for “Use Freeze Enrollment.” Freeze enrollment is the course enrollment that the final financial distributions for each fiscal year are based upon.
